In this forest, light does not enter from a single direction. It settles upon the trunks, scatters among the shadows, and lingers throughout the painting. Golden tones glow like memories of sunlight against deep grays and browns, awakening the forest’s quiet atmosphere. I wanted to capture a moment in which light finds a way to remain despite the surrounding darkness. Scattered marks and partially revealed layers trace its movement among the trees, as though the forest has preserved the radiance within itself, waiting for the right moment to reveal it again. “Where the Light Remains” is a story of quiet and enduring hope—a light that may not always be visible, yet continues to live within the shadows and returns to the world through every opening.
